Well water (sumur bor)
A deep drilled well is the main water source for many Ubud villas, often paired with filtration or RO for better quality.
Sumur bor means a drilled well. In many Ubud villas, this is the primary water source instead of a municipal-style network.
Water quality can vary by depth, season, minerals, and local conditions. For better guest comfort and long-term usability, many villas add professional filtration systems or reverse osmosis (RO) for selected taps.
When renting or buying, ask not only “is there water?” but also how it is filtered, whether pressure is stable, and what the real experience is for showers, skin, hair, and appliances.
