Tourism-designated zoning where legal short-term villa rental licensing is typically possible.
The Pink Zone (Pariwisata) is Bali’s tourism-oriented zoning category. If your investment model depends on daily/short-stay guests, this zone is usually the legal starting point.
In most cases, short-term rental licensing pathways (such as Pondok Wisata-style operations) are expected to align with tourism zoning. Outside the right zone, high headline yields can be legally fragile.
Before underwriting returns, verify zoning, permit pathway, and tax obligations with your notary and licensing advisor.
