Palimanan stone

A light cream sandstone used for carvings and cladding that brightens exteriors and reads as clean tropical elegance.

Palimanan stone is a light-colored sandstone, often cream or white, widely used in Bali for carved panels, wall cladding, gates, and garden features.

Visually, it makes exteriors feel brighter and more “resort clean” than darker stone palettes, which is why it shows up heavily in tropical contemporary villas.

Like any porous stone, performance depends on detailing, sealing, and cleaning routines—especially in humid jungle microclimates where algae and staining can appear if water sits on surfaces.
