Odalan

A temple anniversary ceremony held every 210 days, often visible or audible near villas with shrines or nearby temples.

Odalan is the anniversary celebration of a Balinese temple, usually observed every 210 days according to the local calendar.

Because temples and shrines are woven into daily life, renters and guests may experience decorations, offerings, traditional music, or ceremony activity very close to home during an odalan period.

This is not “special event noise” in the tourist sense; it is part of normal community and spiritual life in Bali.
