A one-time payment for the entire lease term (often 25–30 years), common on Bali leasehold—full capital upfront instead of monthly rent.

Lumpsum payment means paying the total amount for the entire lease duration (typically 25 to 30 years) in one go. Unlike many Western rentals with monthly cheques, leasehold land and villas in Bali often require the full capital upfront.

This structure can help buyers negotiate a better effective price per year and lock in living costs for decades, reducing exposure to inflation and rising market rents—provided the contract, renewal, and transfer terms are clearly understood.
