Money & fees

Iuran

The everyday Indonesian word for a membership fee or local contribution, including banjar-level payments.

Iuran is a general term for contributions or fees toward a group or community. In a Balinese banjar context, it often refers to the same practical idea as a banjar fee: shared support for security, ceremonies, and neighborhood upkeep.

It is not the same as a government tax, but it is part of how local life is funded and coordinated.
