Humidity control
Dehumidifiers, ventilation, and build details that limit mould—protects walls, leather, and electronics through the rainy season.
Humidity control combines equipment (dehumidifiers where appropriate) with architecture—cross-ventilation, vapour management in bathrooms, and sensible AC use patterns.
Without a plan, tropical homes can develop mould on finishes and quietly damage electronics or leather goods during the wet season. Long-stay renters should inspect wardrobes, rear of headboards, and AC condensate drains during viewings.
