Gojek and Grab are the dominant ride-hailing and delivery apps used across Bali for transport, food, and errands.
In parts of Ubud, local transport arrangements may limit app-based pickups even though drop-offs are usually allowed. That means a villa can be app-friendly in one direction but not the other.
For daily life, this affects convenience more than legality: always ask how food delivery, scooter rides, and guest pickups actually work in that exact area.
